Hello! My name is Olivia Marino and I am a 23 year old Multimedia Sports Journalist graduate. I studied at UCFB Wembley from 2020-2023, graduating in January 2024 at the iconic Wembley Stadium!

From a young age, I have been surrounded by everything sports, specifically football. With this passion, I knew from young that I wanted to be involved in sports in some capacity and decided to obtain degrees in areas that would help me achieve this dream. At sixth form, I completed a Media degree where I learned how different applications worked, for example Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I was fortunate enough to leave college with top grades to land a unconditional offer at UCFB Wembley, where I graduated with a 2:1 Upper Second-Class bachelor's degree in Multimedia Sports Journalism. 

During my time at university, I learned so much about football and myself that I never knew before. I was able to attend a football game at Stevenage FC and volunteer for a year at my local football club Charlton Athletic Women in 2022-2023. Here I was able to gain more experience as a journalist and interview the manager and players to create articles and reports for their website. After my graduation, I have found it difficult to secure a job in football, however I am a persistent individual who will not give up on a dream. Given any opportunity, I will grab it with both hands and indicate who I am as a person and journalist.
